Chairman: Clive Clive has been a member of the Downs and Weald for more than ten years, and is now in his third year as Chair.  Clive can often be recognised by his brightly coloured trousers, souvenirs from the exotic parts of the world where he regularly holidays.
Membership Secretaries:

Fay (01732 862162)

Often we have two membership secretaries - this year Fay is holding the fort!

If you are interested in joining Downs and Weald these are the people to talk to. Before contacting them you may wish to checkout this website, in particular the How to Join section.  Please give one or other a ring - you may have to  leave a message, but they will get back to you. They will arrange to send you our latest programme, and if you enjoy your time and walking with us you can join at the bargain rate of £5 per year. Click here for downloadable form which is in Microsoft Word format.

Alternatively you can complete the Membership Enquiry Form which will be passed on to the Membership Secretaries.

Treasurer: Elizabeth

Elizabeth has just taken over this role from Bruce and has been entrusted to look after all of our money.  She is currently busy counting it...
Hostelling Organiser:
Currently vacant

There's nothing to stop anyone organising a YHA trip, so we thought we'd leave this post vacant for the present.
Footpath Secretary:
Currently vacant

Have you ever had you walk along a footpath blocked by an inconsiderate land owner?  If you have let our Footpath Secretary (contact details on programme) know the details. Also responsible for organising Care in the Countryside.
Programme Administrator:
Amanda

Long term member of DWRG. A great "licker and sticker" who at the beginning of each quarter efficiently sends out nearly 200 programmes by post with great aplomb.
Communications Officer: Jenny Jenny was the DWRG Chair until a couple of years ago.  During this period Jenny took on the role of sending out e-mails (known colloquially as "JennyNet" to keep everybody up to date with the latest news, walk information and events. After handing over the Chair, Jenny continues to undertake this role.

Web Manager: Roger

With a few too many years in the DWRG, I have taken on the web site again, and will be making changes in the coming months (years?), so please bear with me while I get the hang of Frontpage.  If you have any comments please use the comment form here (leaving an email address here will unfortunately just encourage spam!)
