Walk Time Distance Chart

With this chart it is possible to work out the approx start/finish times for any walk from a 5+5er to a 8+8er
This information assumes the following:

average walk speed = 2mph (e.g. allow 3 hours to complete 6 miles)
average duration of lunch (with puddings!) 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours
(this is quite a generous allowance and many a walk has finished under these times,
do take into consideration the number of stiles and the type of terrain you will be walking on as well).
